Rai Radio 3 ( Radio Tre ) is the cultural and classical program of Radiotelevisione Italiana , Italy's public broadcaster.
history
The program was founded on October 1, 1950 as Terzo programma (German third program) based on the model of the BBC's third program founded in 1946 . It got its current name in 1976.

The program consists of cultural themes: classical and avant-garde music (including live concerts), drama , literature , history , philosophy , religion and mythology .
