Rai Radio Tutta Italiana (former names IV canale , Filomusic , FD Leggera, Rai Radio FD4 and most recently Rai Radio 4 Light ) is an Italian radio station of Radiotelevisione Italiana , on which mainly Italian music is played.

Until June 11, 2017, the station was active under the name Radio 4 Light with pop music , rock music , fusion , jazz music , Latin American music , film music , melodic music and light orchestral music . Until June 11, 2017, the program was divided into the sections pop (midnight to 10 p.m.) and jazz (10 p.m. to midnight). Like its sister broadcaster Rai Radio Classica, the program was an additional program of Filodiffusione , a wire radio system developed in 1958 by Rai in collaboration with the then Italian national telephone company Società Idroelettrica Piemontese (SIP) (now Telecom Italia ) and launched on January 4, 1959 in order to provide all of Italy with programs of good quality. Today the program is also broadcast via DAB and DVB-T in Italy, Europe-wide via satellite and worldwide via an Internet stream.

Since November 15, 2005, Rai Radio 4 Light has been broadcasting pop and rock music as well as a nightly program of jazz music . This conversion was part of a restructuring based on a survey on the broadcaster's internet portal.

Until the end of the broadcast on December 31, 2011, between midnight and 6 a.m., the international program Notturno Italiano, which consisted of Italian popular music and news in English , French and Italian , was taken over by Rai Radio 4 Light.

Rai Radio Tutta italiana is also taken over by Rai Radio Trst A at certain times (mainly from 7:35 p.m. to 7 a.m.).
