history
Trst A was founded in 1931 as Radio Trieste - Radio Trst and renamed Radio Coastal Land - Radio Litorale Adriatico - Primorski radio during World War II . After the program was taken over by the Yugoslav People's Army , the program was called Radio Trieste Libera - Radio Svobodni Trst from May 1945 . A short time later, the program was restarted and now temporarily took over the Italian, Slovenian and Croatian-language programs of the BBC World Service . In 1954 the station came to Radiotelevisione Italiana and is still operated by them today.
