Rainer Ballin
Rainer Ballin (born June 6, 1959 in Barsinghausen ) is a German journalist , radio presenter and agency owner .
Life
After graduating from high school, Rainer Ballin completed an apprenticeship as a salesman for men's clothing and passed the trainer aptitude test for retailers. Then he began to study business administration and then social sciences in Göttingen. In 1984 he finished his studies with a diploma thesis on musical television entertainment in Germany with the title "Vom Beatclub zum Musikladen" . He then moved to Munich and worked at Radio 89 in Unterföhring as a freelance journalist and presenter. He switched to Bavarian television in the Show, Game and Entertainment editorial team, where he worked as a freelance editor under the direction of Jochen Filser for the productions "Sketchup" with Diether Krebs and Iris Berben , "Dingsda" with Fritz Egner and "Vier gegen Willi" worked with Mike Krüger and “Herzblatt” with Rudi Carrell .
In 1990 Ballin went to the newly founded channel Antenne Niedersachsen as a presenter . As a company editor he produced numerous programs such as “Antenne Kaffeeklatsch”. He did interviews with stars for programs about the award of the Bambi , the Golden Camera , the Telestar and the Cannes International Film Festival, the Golden Rose in Montreux . From 1984 until today, Rainer Ballin has conducted over 2000 interviews with celebrities. In 1999 Rainer Ballin switched from "Hitradio Antenne Niedersachsen" to NDR 1 Niedersachsen , where he worked as a presenter in the daily program until 2013. In 2016/2017 he was a freelance presenter and producer at Radio Hannover. There he produced and hosted the weekly radio partner search “Singles in the City”.
Agency
In 1986 Ballin founded the agency "Hotline-Media" with three colleagues. From Munich his team supplied the ARD and numerous private radio stations with interviews of stars and star portraits. For TV shows like Bio's Bahnhof u. a. he arranged interview partners or produced programs about curiosities such as B. Germany's first drug pig. When the music channel MTV Europe started, Rainer Ballin brokered MTV's first German video jockey, Al Munteanu . Numerous still existing radio formats were developed by Hotline-Media and Al Munteanu, such as B. Hollywood Affairs. From the Hotline-Media agency in Munich, the "Media-Farm" in Auetal emerged in 2000 , with which Rainer Ballin works as a consultant and organizer in the areas of press work, marketing, PR and event organization. This was followed in 2011 by the "rb-entertainment" agency, with which Ballin operated artist management and tour organization. This agency was discontinued in 2017.
More activities
From June 2008 to 2010 Rainer Ballin also worked as an innkeeper and ran an event inn near Rinteln . From 2011 to 2015 Rainer Ballin ran an event center in Barsinghausen: The "Kuh-Bar und das Muuh!", With a disco, the Kuh-Bar and the Muuh! -Theater. Since May 2017 Ballin has been working as an independent sales representative 34C as a real estate broker IHK for LBS Immobilien GmbH Nordwest. He has since ended his agency work. Now and then he can still be heard as a radio presenter.

Ballin produces music CDs, for example with the group "Bruderherz". He also published a book.
