Raini Alena Rodriguez (born July 1, 1993 in Bryan , Texas ) is an American actress .

Life

Raini Rodriguez was born in Bryan , Texas , in July 1993 to Diane and Roy Rodriguez. Her little brother, Rico Rodriguez, is also an actor, just like her. At the age of 6 she was discovered by a talent scout and she moved to California. Her parents gave her the best possible support in her career, for example she received home schooling from her mother. She had her first roles in short films such as The No Sit List and in the form of guest appearances in various television series such as Huff - Reif für die Couch and Hotel Zack & Cody . Her first major role was alongside Kevin James and Jayma Mays in the comedy The Mall Cop , for which they at the Young Artist Awards 2010 as Best Supporting Actress in a feature film was nominated. This was followed by other short appearances in the short films Slice of Water and Last Chance Lloyd, as well as in the television series Tripp's Rockband and True Jackson . In 2011 she got a starring role in the movie Prom - The night of your life and in the Disney Channel - Youth series Austin & Ally . For the latter role, she received an Imagen Award in 2013 .
