Ralf Böhme (musician)

Ralf Böhme (born April 18, 1963 in Meiningen , from 1988 to 1997 Ralf Bostelmann-Böhme ) is a German music producer and composer .

Life

Ralf Böhme studied bassoon at the "Hanns Eisler" Academy of Music in Berlin from 1983 to 1985 and piano and composition at the Friedrichshain Music School in East Berlin from 1986 to 1989 . In the second half of the 1970s he founded the German pop band Jessica with the guitarist André Drechsler , in which he played as a keyboard player and composed all the songs together with Drechsler. In 1988 he left Jessica and has since worked as a composer of stage and film music as well as a music producer, among others by André Herzberg , Keimzeit , Karat , Hansi Biebl and Hans-Eckardt Wenzel . In recent years he has turned to the composition of so-called serious music . In the 2012/13 season he conducted Wolfgang Mitterer's "The Brave Little Tailor" in the workshop of the State Opera in the Schiller Theater .
