Ralf Ptak

Ralf Ptak (born July 16, 1960 in Kiel ) is a doctor of economics and an academic adviser for general economics at the human sciences faculty of the University of Cologne . He is also a member of the Alternative Economic Policy working group ( memorandum group) and a member of the scientific advisory board of attac . His work focuses on the history of economic theory , social and educational policy, and right-wing extremism .

Ptak grew up in Kiel and completed an apprenticeship as a machine fitter . After working as a skilled worker and works council , he began studying economics at the University of Economics and Politics in Hamburg in the early 1990s and graduated in 1996 with a degree in social economics . He wrote his dissertation on From Ordoliberalism to the Social Market Economy. Stations of neoliberalism in Germany and received his doctorate in 2004.

He is currently working as an economics consultant for the church service in the world of work.
