Dakar Rally 1983
The 1983 Dakar Rally was the 5th edition of the Dakar Rally . From January 1st to 20th, 1983, it led in 14 stages and over 10,000 km from Paris via Algeria , Niger , Upper Volta , Ivory Coast , Mali and Mauritania to Dakar .
Jacky Ickx won the cars, Hubert Auriol won the motorcycles .
