Ralph Neubert (born September 1, 1972 in Berlin ) is a German pianist .

Life

Neubert grew up in Berlin, where his parents worked as a singer at the Deutsche Oper . At the age of 11 he became a young student at the Berlin University of the Arts . In 1991 he began studying piano at the University of Music and Theater in Hanover with Karl-Heinz Kämmerling , which he graduated in 1997 with "very good". His interest in singing and opera then led him to the University of Music and Theater in Munich , where he also studied singing as a tenor .

After working in Hanover , Pforzheim and at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, he has been employed as a director of studies at the Erfurt Theater since 2009 .

His concert activities have taken Ralph Neubert to German stages and beyond to Austria and Japan . He has performed as a soloist with the Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie Herford under Joshard Daus , the Erfurt Philharmonic Orchestra under Samuel Bächli , the Badische Philharmonie Pforzheim and the Bremerhaven Philharmonic under Marc Niemann and the Philharmonic Orchestra Würzburg under Enrico Calesso .

As a song accompanist , he worked with Julian Freibott , Vazgen Ghazaryan , Marisca Mulder, Ilia Papandreou and Peter Schöne , among others .

Since 2014 he has been playing the piano trio with Alexej Barchevitch and Claudia Schwarze .
