Peter Schöne (born May 17, 1976 in Berlin ) is a German concert and opera singer ( baritone ).

Life

The Berlin-born singer Peter Schöne received his training as a singer with Kammersänger Harald Stamm at the Berlin University of the Arts , which he graduated with distinction. He completed his studies in master classes with Brigitte Fassbaender , Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau and Thomas Hampson .

Before that, he completed violin studies with Valerie Rubin at the Nuremberg-Augsburg University of Music .

Shortly before completing his studies, he received an engagement at the Hagen Theater . Numerous recitals have taken him to, for example, the Wiener Musikverein , the Philharmonie Berlin and the Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts in Munich .

Peter Schöne is increasingly devoting himself to the performance of modern music and has already appeared in several world premieres by Moritz Eggert , Christian Jost , Wilhelm Killmayer , Jan Müller-Wieland , Ichiro Nodaira, Aribert Reimann and Wolfgang Rihm .
