Julian Freibott

Julian Freibott (* 1990 in Ebern ) is a German opera singer ( tenor ).

Life

Julian Freibott received his first musical training in Regensburg with the Regensburger Domspatzen , where he attended the music high school until his Abitur in 2009 . He completed his vocal studies at the University of Music in Würzburg in 2013 with a diploma, then he did his master's degree with Konrad Jarnot at the Robert Schumann University in Düsseldorf . His training was rounded off by master classes with u. a. Peter Schreier , Werner Güra , Angelika Kirchschlager and Emma Kirkby .

During his studies he gained his first experience on the opera stage at the Mainfranken Theater Würzburg , the Pocket Opera Company Nuremberg , the Chamber Opera Munich and the Junge Oper Schloss Weikersheim, and he also performed as a lieder and concert singer in the Tonhalle Düsseldorf , the Meistersingerhalle Nuremberg and the Allerheiligen-Hofkirche , as well as with musicians from the Bamberg Symphony and the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra .

At the beginning of 2016 he made his debut as a guest at the Erfurt Theater and was subsequently engaged for several productions. Since the 2017/18 season he has been a permanent member of the ensemble there under the musical direction of Joana Malwitz and Myron Michailidis. a. the role of Tamino in Die Zauberflöte and Lorenzo in Fra Diavolo . As Camille de Rossillon ( The Merry Widow ) he last appeared at the State Theater on Gärtnerplatz in Munich.

With the pianist Ralph Neubert he has regular lied work. a. with Eric Schneider and Gerold Huber at the Kissinger Sommer and the Feuchtwangen cloister plays .
