The Ramganga (also Ram Gar ; Hindi रामगंगा Rāmgaṅgā ) is a left tributary of the Sarju in the Indian state of Uttarakhand .

The Ramganga rises on the southern flank of the 6050  m high Dangthal in the Kumaon Himalayas in the far north of the Bageshwar district . The mountain Nanda Kot is about 8 km northwest of the headwaters. The river flows mainly in a southerly direction through the Front Himalaya . The river runs along the district border to Pithoragarh and in the lower reaches through its southern part. Finally the Ramganga flows into the south-east flowing Sarju, which flows further 20 km downstream into the Mahakali ( Kali or Sarda ). The Ramganga has a length of about 100 km.
