Bageshwar is bordered by Chamoli to the west, Pithoragarh to the east and Almora to the south . The area of the district of Bageshwar is 2241 km². The area of the Bageshwar district is in the catchment area of Pindar and Sarju . The district extends in the north to the Nanda Kot .
