The Ramingbach (also the Raming ) is an approximately 23 km long right tributary of the Enns in Upper and Lower Austria .

The Ramingbach rises at an altitude of around 700  m above sea level. A. in the municipality of Maria Neustift  from several meadow ditches between the Bischofberg and the Freithofberg in the Upper Austrian Alps . It then flows through the Kleinramingtal in a north to north-westerly direction. It forms the border between Upper and Lower Austria over almost the entire length to the Steyr city ​​area. Surname

The Ramingsteg and Ramingstraße are named after the brook in the Steyr city area. In his town history published in 1837, Franz Xaver Pritz mentions the name Rubinicha , which is passed down in Bishop Altmann's Garstner document from 1082. Later names are after Pritz Renninkh and Röming . Rubinicha (Rubiniccha) is of Slavic origin and means Fischbach.
