The Ramingbach (also the Raming ) is an approximately 23 km long right tributary of the Enns in Upper and Lower Austria .

The Ramingbach rises at an altitude of around 700 m above sea level. A. in the municipality of Maria Neustift from several meadow ditches between the Bischofberg and the Freithofberg in the Upper Austrian Alps . It then flows through the Kleinramingtal in a north to north-westerly direction. It forms the border between Upper and Lower Austria over almost the entire length to the Steyr city area. Before Conversely My Dung from Hinterberg-Münichholz of Behamberg Steyr 1938, Bach was to the mouth border.
Surname
The Ramingsteg and Ramingstraße are named after the brook in the Steyr city area. In his town history published in 1837, Franz Xaver Pritz mentions the name Rubinicha , which is passed down in Bishop Altmann's Garstner document from 1082. Later names are after Pritz Renninkh and Röming . Rubinicha (Rubiniccha) is of Slavic origin and means Fischbach.
