Ramsi Aliani

Ramsi Aliani (born June 30, 1980 in Ratingen , Germany ) is a German singer, songwriter and music and video producer of Tunisian descent, who belongs to the German Soul / RnB genre. Ramsi Aliani is the founder and head of the production company "Mo Chocola records".

Life

Childhood and youth

Ramsi Aliani grew up as the son of a Tunisian guest worker family in Ratingen . He attended elementary school there and from 1997 to 2000 the Adam-Josef-Cüppers-Business and Administration School in Ratingen. Through his brother Lotfi Aliani , who worked as a musician himself in Ramsi Aliani's youth, he gained insights into professional music studios and began to be interested in the way sound engineers work.

Musical career

He soon began to develop his own musical style and to write German lyrics that reflected his life and time. A new kind of melodic rap song emerged . Fluent slides of Soul singing about R & B - beats which to catchy hooks and danceable grooves form.

In 1997 he published his first German RnB song "Your eyes don't see me" on the Westpack compilation . While recording this CD he got to know Tachi & Suli from the hip-hop group Fresh Familee . In the same year he met Don Tone , who u. a. for Aggro Berlin , Die Fantastischen Vier and Kool Savas produced. In 1999 he went on tour with rapper Nana Abrokwa . Among other things, they recorded the song “Germany are you down” and “Go with the beat” together with Manuellsen . In 2000 he took part in the Scene Talents tour sponsored by MTV . Ramsi emerged from 3500 competitors as one of the three best singing talents in the nationwide talent competition. He was sponsored by Inscene and MTV. In this context, a video clip for Aliani's ballad “Your eyes don't see me” was shot in Ibiza from the “MTV Fashion Zone” show.

In 2004 he received an exclusive author's contract with EMI , Hamburg. He was considered one of the authors of the pop star group Overground . Their album rose to number 1 in the German charts and was awarded triple platinum. In the same year Ramsi Aliani founded the production company MoChocola records.

In 2004 he founded the German Dream Allstars with the rapper Manuellsen with Eko Fresh , Summer Cem , and Capkekz. This was followed by the label sampler “German Dream Allstars” in 2005. In addition, the group with the single “Not more normal” (together with Eko Fresh, Capkekz , Manuellsen and Summer Cem) was found on the sampler Bravo Black Hits Vol.

Ramsi Aliani recorded an RnB mixtape , the first German ever, but could not publish the already finished mixtape R-Reicht on this label. In 2006 he separated from the label. At the beginning of February 2006, Aliani put the first German RnB mixtape "R-Reicht" free on the Internet. Guest features include a. contained by Eko Fresh, Kay One , Summer Cem, Manuellsen, Jonesmann , Jaysus , Valezka , Nana , Akay , Ice-H.
