Raymond Baudère

Raymond Baudère (born January 6, 1920 in Bulle ; † December 15, 2007 in Nyon , legal resident in Assens ) was a Swiss politician ( KVP ).

biography

Baudère attended the Progymnasium with the classical orientation and then graduated from the commercial school . He later worked as an office worker for various professional associations. From 1961 to 1985 he headed Caritas for the canton of Vaud .

Baudère held his first political office from 1949 to 1963 as a councilor for the city of Lausanne . He was substitute judge, judge and vice-president of the District Court of Lausanne from 1961 to 1983. From 1953 to 1961 he was for the Conservative-Christian Social People's Party in the Grand Council of the Canton of Vaud, before serving in the National Council from 1962 to 1967 . During his time in the National Council he was a member of the permanent SBB commission.

Baudère was also president of the Sainte-Hélène aid organization for women in need and was a founding member of the Clémence Foundation in Lausanne in 1975.
