Rebecca Marder
Rebecca Marder (born April 10, 1995 ) is a French - American actress .
Life
Rebecca Marder grew up in France as the daughter of the French theater journalist Mathilde La Bardonnie, who worked at Le Monde and later at Liberation , and the American musician Marc Marder. She began her acting career at the age of five as Charlotte in the film Ceci est mon corps by Rodolphe Marconi. In 2007 she played in Kid Power - Die Nervensäge! alongside Pascal Légitimus and Sandrine Bonnaire and in 2010 in The Children of Paris with Jean Reno and Mélanie Laurent .
Between 2008 and 2011 Marder was trained at the Conservatoire à rayonnement communal du 13e arrondissement de Paris . Since September 2014 she attended the school of the Théâtre national de Strasbourg for 10 months until she, discovered by Éric Ruf , became a permanent actress at the National Theater Comédie-Française (Pensionnaire à la Comédie-Française) on June 22, 2015 . Since then she has been on stage there regularly for classical roles. She played the Claudine in Molière's George Dandin ou le Mari confondu and La Jalousie du Barbouillé , the Atalide in Jean Racine's Bajazet and the Hermione in Euripides ' Électre and Oreste .
In between, Marder is always able to work as an actress in film and television productions. At the Berlinale 2020 she could be seen in the French-Cambodian documentary Irradiés , for which her father composed the music.
