Red Lights Flash was a punk band from Graz in Austria .
Career
The band was formed in 1997. Their aim was to combine political texts and sophisticated punk rock melodies. After their first album Stop When… shows in Austria and other parts of Europe followed . Due to the increased popularity they were able to release their second album And Time Goes By 2000 on the record label Household Name Records of London. Now they have been able to tour with bands like Good Riddance , Propagandhi , Strike Anywhere , Satanic Surfers , AFI and Anti-Flag . Through the contact with the latter they had the chance to release their album Free on the renowned anti-flag label AF Records worldwide. This was followed by tours as the opening act for Rise Against and Alexisonfire as well as the first headlining tour through Portugal and Spain . In 2009 Red Lights Flash released their fourth studio album, For your Safety . A release tour followed, further shows with A Wilhelm Scream, Rise Against and Anti-Flag as well as an appearance at Austria's largest music festival Nova Rock. On October 19, 2010, the band announced their split on their MySpace profile.
