In the 12th and 13th centuries, a new building was built, which was later continuously supplemented by the construction of a choir and the extension of the nave and the installation of a coffered ceiling and was last restored in 2002/03. The church tower with bells from the 14th century and onion dome from the 18th century adjoins the facade in the north and its structure dates from the Romanesque period.
The current choir has the shape of a square, while the previous church had an apse . In the middle of the choir is a late Gothic baptismal font . While the pulpit dates back to the 18th century, the organ is more recent and was installed in 1956.
