Regina Nowack
Regina Nowack (born July 7, 1951 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German actress .
Life
Nowack completed an acting training at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin ; She also studied philology , sports and graphics . In the 1982/83 season she appeared at the Kiel Theater as Amalia in Die Räuber (production: Gerhard Hess). In the 1980s she was part of the ensemble of the Berlin Schiller Theater for several seasons (including the 1986/1987 season) . Regina Nowack played on several other theatrical stages. Her repertoire included roles by William Shakespeare and August Strindberg . Nowack also appeared in musicals ; she also performed on stage with her own chanson and cabaret programs.
On television she was in gynecologist Dr. Markus Merthin and Gute Zeiten to see bad times . Nowack was part of the original cast of the ARD early evening series Verbotene Liebe and played the lead role of Iris Brandner from 1995 to 1996 . After leaving Verbotene Liebe, Nowack largely withdrew from acting and into private life.
Nowack is involved in the Amalgam self-help group in Berlin and has been campaigning for a strict amalgam ban for many years - also on its own behalf .
