Rehringhausen is at the end of the Ahetal. To the southwest it borders on the Olper district of Stachelau . Rehringhausen has 319 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019).

history

Rehringhausen was first mentioned in a document in 1409. Until 1969, Rehringhausen, Altenkleusheim and Neuenkleusheim formed the independent community of Kleusheim. The community of Kleusheim, to which Rehringhausen belonged, was incorporated into the district town of Olpe on July 1, 1969. The place has a church (St. Nikolaus) and a village green , where the annual shooting festival takes place. In 2007 Rehringhausen won federal gold in the competition Our village has a future .
