Reichenbach is a district of the city of Schönwald . It is the crossing point of the road between Neuhausen via Baumgärtelmühle to Selb-Plößberg and the city center Schönwald to Lauterbach .
Reichenbach was one of the four villages that were ecclesiastically parish to Asch (Aš), this did not end until 1945. Reichenbach was mentioned in a document in 1372 when Konrad von Neuberg sold the village to the council of Eger . The land register of the six offices assigned the village to the neck court in Selb in 1499 . In 1818 the place came to the municipality of Lauterbach, since the municipal reform it has belonged to Schönwald.
Under monument protection , several farmhouses with local typical character as a byre-dwelling , once with tails roof . At the end of the village in the direction of Lauterbach, on the former Kirchenweg to Asch, there is a stone cross . Bucka refers to an entry in the Egerer Achtbuch from 1377 that a Reichenbacher was ostracized there. A traditional legend also points to an atonement cross . The Perlenbach rises in the area of Reichenbach .
