action

Sisters Jane and Penny Lowe are arrested on their trip to Los Angeles for vagrancy and public nuisance for bathing naked in a lake. The judge gives the two girls the choice of either going to prison for 30 days or working off their sentence on a farm. Not knowing that the unscrupulous rancher Trump bribed the police and secretly married the judge in order to get cheap labor, the girls choose to work in the country. But the young workers in the cotton fields suffer from inhumane working conditions. Only the rock 'n' roll sessions among the young people in the evening strengthen morale. When Bob Steele, the judge's son, comes to the farm as an employee, he notices the brutal working conditions. When a pregnant worker dies while working in the fields, Bob tells his mother about the unworthy conditions on the ranch. With the help of the judge, the injustices are exposed and Trump arrested. Bob has fallen in love with Penny and takes over the management of the farm with her. Jane succeeds in entering show business .
