Reinaldo Dopp

Reinaldo Dopp is a German tenor . He was born the son of a businessman and a pharmacist in Perleberg ( Brandenburg ).

education

He studied church music and singing in Halle (Saale) . He completed his church music studies in 2001 with the A-exam , the singing studies in 2003 with the artistic maturity examination in concert and lied singing. During this time he attended singing and organ masterclasses with Guy Bovet and Ruth Ziesak, among others .

Career

Reinaldo Dopp has been a regular oratorio singer since 2004 , but already sang the role of Lazarus in the opera of the same name by Johann Heinrich Rolle at the Handel Festival in Halle in 2002 .

He works with representatives of the " early music scene", including Ludger Rémy .

This was followed by CD and radio productions and the first stage projects. In 2005 and 2007 Dopp sang the role of Tetzel in the world premiere of the scenic oratorio "Luther" by Dietrich Lohff in the town church of St. Marien zu Wittenberg . In 2006 he sang various roles in the ballet opera "Les Quatre Saisons" by Johann Christoph Schmidt in the summer palace in the Dresden Great Garden . He made his debut as a lieder singer in 2008 with the cycle Winterreise by Franz Schubert in the Handel House Halle .
