Reinhard Feldrapp

Reinhard Feldrapp (born December 23, 1951 in Naila in the Franconian Forest ) is a German photographer and artist .

biography

As a teenager, Feldrapp came into contact with photography through his father Willi Feldrapp, who also worked as a photographer in Naila. In 1971, Feldrapp was able to successfully complete the photo assistant training that began in 1968. After his years of traveling from 1971 to 1975, he passed the master craftsman examination that same year. Reinhard Feldrapp has been working as a freelance photographer for companies, publishers and authorities since 1977. From 1984 his field of activity also includes photo journalism. In addition, Feldrapp has been realizing more and more of his own projects since 1985 that can be assigned to free art . These works have been presented to a diverse audience in several large exhibitions. Feldrapps' favorite discipline is landscape photography. Here he always knows how to open up new perspectives, especially from his home in the Franconian Forest .

On March 4, 2013, the BR television broadcast an episode of the portrait series " Lebenslinien " about Reinhard Feldrapp with the title "Das Auge das Frankenwaldes", directed by Jens Arndt.
