Reinhard Wagner (photographer)

Reinhard Wagner (* 1963 in Nuremberg ) is a German photographer , journalist , publisher and author .

Career

As a student of the Dürer-Gymnasium Nuremberg he had as chief editor of the school newspaper Timpani his first contacts with the journalism and photography , since 1981 he has been (with interruptions) with publications in the newspaper industry actively, relying since 1999 digital cameras the company Olympus one.

After graduating from high school , he studied electrical engineering at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg and the University of Applied Sciences in Regensburg .

After dropping out of his studies and doing basic military / alternative service , he dealt with the emerging PC technology and worked there in various areas.

In 1995 he founded his own publishing house (with various publications in the photo area) and runs various online portals (including photography) - here among others:

• pen-and-tell.de - a web diary on photography and Olympus

In 2020 he was represented on the list of the FDP as a non-party candidate for election as a voluntary member for the market council Pyrbaum .

He is married and lives in Pyrbaum .

Reinhard Wagner publishes (in addition to his online publications in the aforementioned portals) almost exclusively in book form about cameras , lenses , etc. from the Olympus company. His publications are characterized by intensive occupation with these products in the professional and private sector and go far beyond an extended operating manual .
