The Remdaer Rinne , also just a gutter , but therefore easily confused with the nearby Königseer Rinne , is a flowing body of water in Thuringia . The small river is around 17.5 km long and flows into the Saale at Rudolstadt .
course
The origin of the Remdaer Rinne lies around two kilometers west of Sundremda in the Stadtilm area in the Ilm district . The channel flows east towards Sundremda and touches the town to the north. It then makes an arc, flows a little to the north before it turns again and south of Remda flows again to the east and past Eschdorf . We continue past the Heilsberger Mühle and Feldmühle, which once benefited from the rapidly flowing Remdaer Gully . Orienting itself to the southeast, the gully flows through Teichröda , Ammelstädt and Pflanzwirbach to Rudolstadt. There it is picked up from the left by the Saale flowing from west to east.
