René Follet
René Follet (born April 10, 1931 in Brussels ; † March 14, 2020 there ) was a Belgian comic artist .
Life
René Follet was still in school when he was asked for the first illustrations. He received further orders from the scout magazines Plein Jeu and Scouts de France . He also worked for Spirou and Tintin . Most of the works of the time were illustrations or short stories.
It was not until 1967 that René Follet started with longer comic series. He worked several times with Yvan Delporte , Jacques Stoquart and André-Paul Duchâteau . He helped MiTacq in Jacques Le Gall and Stany Derval, and assisted William Vance in Bob Morane , Bruce J. Hawker and Marshal Blueberry . He regularly alternated his work as a comic artist with that as an illustrator.
