Rena Mero Lesnar (born August 8, 1967 in Jacksonville , Florida ; born Rena Greek ) is an American actress , photo model and former professional wrestler .

Career

After she won her first beauty contest at the age of 12, Mero worked as a model for companies such as L'Oréal , Pepsi and Guess .

Wrestling

As Sable , she joined the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE) in 1996 and made her debut at Wrestlemania 12 as the valet of Hunter Hearst Helmsley . She then performed this task for her husband Marc until she had to pause in 1997 due to an injury. She returned in 1998 and was subsequently involved in a feud with her husband against Luna Vachon and Goldust . Marc turned against her and so it came to a feud between Sable and Marc's new manager Jaqueline . From this she won the WWE Women's Championship in November 1998 . In April 1999 she was photographed for Playboy and was the cover girl of the issue of that time.

Acting and TV appearances

In mid-1999 she left the WWF with her husband and tried herself as an actress. During this time she made guest appearances on The Howard Stern Show and Late Night with Conan O'Brien . She has also appeared in television series such as Relic Hunter and First Wave , and she played a female bouncer in the film Corky Romano . In August 2000, she published her autobiography Undefeated . In addition to the biography, she also published the comic book The 10th Muse , in which she herself is portrayed as a superhero.

Wrestling return

In April 2003 she returned to the WWF, which has since been renamed WWE. There it came first to a feud with Torrie Wilson , which was followed by a feud with Stephanie McMahon - who in turn received support from other members of the McMahon family. Teaming up with Wilson, Sable began a storyline against Stacy Keibler and Jackie Gayda. After finishing another feud against Wilson, she left the WWE again in August 2004 to devote more time to her family.

Private

In 1986 she married Wayne Richardson. Their daughter Mariah (* 1988) comes from this marriage. Richardson died in 1991. In 1993 she met professional wrestler Marc Mero , whom she married the following year. The couple divorced in 2004. In May 2006 she married the professional wrestler Brock Lesnar , with whom she has two sons.
