Renata Al-Ghoul (born July 30, 1952 in Cosel , Opole Voivodeship ) is a German business lawyer and artist of Polish origin.

Life

She attended grammar school (Polish: Liceum), graduated in 1971 with the Matura and studied law at the University of Wroclaw . In 1975 she completed her studies with a master's thesis as Magistra iuris (Mag. Jur.) With the grade very good and was employed as a legal advisor in the legal department of a consumer goods company in Wroclaw . During her studies, she met the Palestinian doctor Basem Al-Ghoul. They married and moved from the People's Republic of Poland to Paderborn in 1977 , where she worked as legal advisor and managing director in the medical field. The oldest daughter is a resident doctor in Munich.

Paderborn artist

After a family phase (3 daughters), she acquired oil painting and artistic photography as an autodidact and opened the Rena-Art-Studio in Paderborn in 2005. Her works of art contain inspirations , influences and borrowings from three cultures (West Slavic, German and Arabic) with a distinctly surreal touch . She created over 100 oil paintings, is a member of the Paderborn working group FrauenKultur and presented her paintings (oil on canvas ) both on site in Paderborn and in Bytom (2007), Wrocław , Delft (2010), Munich, Frauenmuseum (Bonn) (2012) and Marsberg ( opening June 24, 2012).
