Renate Adolph
Renate Adolph (born March 20, 1954 in East Berlin ) is a German journalist and politician ( Die Linke ). From 2004 to 2009 she was a member of the Brandenburg State Parliament .
Life and work
In 1972 Renate Adolph graduated from high school and then began a traineeship at the General German Intelligence Service (ADN). From 1973 to 1977 she studied at the Karl Marx University in Leipzig and graduated as a journalist. From 1977 to 1990 Adolph worked as an editor for ADN in Berlin (East), for the Berliner Zeitung and for the Junge Welt publishing house . She then worked for an advertising agency in Berlin until 1994. From 1994 to 2004 she ran an advertising agency.
Renate Adolph is married, has two children and lives in Hönow ( Märkisch-Oderland district ).

Renate Adolph became a member of the SED in 1976 .
Since November 2003 Renate Adolph has been a member of the district council in the Märkisch-Oderland district (MOL). In the 2004 state elections , she was able to prevail in constituency 31 Märkisch-Oderland I / Oder-Spree IV and entered parliament directly . In 2009 she achieved the direct mandate again.
In the parliamentary group she was the spokesperson for consumer protection and wastewater policy. She was a full member of the Committee on Rural Development, Environment and Consumer Protection.
On November 30, 2009, she resigned her state parliament mandate because, contrary to internal party regulations, she had not made public her work as an unofficial employee for the Enlightenment Office of the Ministry for State Security . It was only after growing pressure as a result of other Stasi cases in the Brandenburg Left Group that she admitted this IM activity. For them, Irene Wolff-Molorciuc moved up in the state parliament.
On January 9, 2012, Renate Adolph was re-elected to the board of the Hoppegarten branch of the party Die Linke .
