Renate Serwotke

Renate Serwotke (* 1949 in Erfurt , Thuringia ) is a German actress .

Life

Renate Serwotke completed her acting training at the State University for Music and Performing Arts in Hamburg from 1972 to 1975 .

From 1975 to 2002 she worked as a theater actress continuously determined at Theater Osnabrück , at the Theater Lübeck and at the City Theater Hildesheim involved. At the Schlosstheater Celle she appeared in the 1984/85 season as Mrs. Fanny Wilton in John Gabriel Borkman and in the 1988/89 season as "The Woman in Green" in Peer Gynt . She also appeared there, alongside Harald Maack as Caliban, as Ariel in Shakespeare's late work Der Sturm (premiere: August 1986, director: Günter Lürssen). In the 1996/97 season she was seen at the Hildesheim Theater in Werner Schwab's play The President . At the Hildesheim Theater she played a. a. Katarina Egerman in scenes of a marriage in the 1997/98 season .

She has mainly worked for television since retiring from the theater. Several times she took on leading and supporting roles in various television series. She also appeared in supporting roles in some movies and played leading roles in short films .

In the short film God and the World (2013), which was also shown at the Trento Film Festival in 2017 , she embodied the long -established parish councilor Adelheid at the side of Jonas Müller-Liljeström . In the short film Neue Heimat (2015), which u. a. was shown at the Flensburg Short Film Festival and at the Nordic Film Festival , she played the lead role, Marielena, who is in the late sixties and is moving out of the house where she once raised her children.

In the ZDF television series SOKO Wismar , she was the murder victim, the fortune teller Belinda Balthasar , in the episode that first aired in December 2010 . In the previous evening crime series Hubert and Staller (2014) she played the suspect widow of a murdered house owner. In the first season of the ARD television series In All Friendship - The Young Doctors , she was seen in a leading role in the episode in January 2015 as a recalcitrant, elderly patient, Ms. Schwegler. In the TV miniseries Tempel (2016) she played the mother of Milan, the "brutal and intelligent top drug boss in the area" ( Aleksandar Jovanovic ).
