Trento Film Festival

The Trento Film Festival , originally the international film festival of the mountain and exploration city of Trento , is one of the oldest Italian film festivals and the world's oldest mountain film festival . It was founded in 1952 on the initiative of the Club Alpino Italiano (CAI) and the city of Trento .

The MontagnaLibri has been taking place parallel to the festival since 1987 , a series of events dedicated to publications on the subject of mountain and mountain film, including books, photographs, paintings, graphics, sculptures, games, comics, cartoons.

Goal setting

During the festival, films will be shown and awarded that deal with the high mountains, alpine exploration , mountaineering and environmental aspects. Meetings of alpinists take place in the framework program.
