Reporter is a nine-part TV series on ARD from 1989. It reflects the everyday life of a fictional weekly magazine TNT fighting for the best headlines ; Purchased sensations (allusion to the Stern scandal about the Hitler diaries from 1983) and intrigues included.
Directed by Klaus Emmerich and Hans Noever , the script was provided by Horst Vocks and Thomas Wittenburg . The individual episodes are 48 minutes long.
Roles and performers
The main characters are the young and inexperienced journalist Azade Celik , called Atze ( Renan Demirkan ) at the side of the shrewd photographer Pit Wilkens , called PiWi ( Walter Kreye ) and their joint editor-in-chief Herbst ( Dietmar Schönherr ) - film quote about him: “You are like that narrow-minded, you can look through a keyhole with both eyes at the same time! ”
According to their own admission, when creating this figure, the authors had the former Stern editor Henri Nannen in mind.
In addition, well-known actors such as: Jürgen Holtz ( Struck ), Heinz Hoenig ( Schlueter ), Rolf Zacher ( Fred ), Martin Lüttge ( Nielsen ), Tilo Prückner ( Paulchen ) and Hanno Pöschl ( Lochte ) play in numerous roles .
Prizes and awards
In 1990 Klaus Emmerich , Hans Noever , Walter Kreye , Renan Demirkan and Jürgen Holtz received the Adolf Grimme Prize with silver for the 1st and 2nd episodes of the series .
