The Reschenbach is a left tributary of the Würm in Upper Bavaria . During the moss colonization in the Dachauer Moos , it was deepened and has a drainage function to this day.
course
The Reschenbach rises in the western Dachauer Moos, southeast of the Karlsfeld district of Waldschwaige. First it flows north, where the duck stream joins it on the left. Shortly afterwards, it turns west and passes under the Munich-Nuremberg railway line and federal highway 304 . Flowing north again, the stream touches the Rotschwaige, where it feeds a fish farm. Shortly after crossing under the federal highway 471 , the Reschenbach flows into the Würm . Both bodies of water form the so-called "Würm-Reschenbach-Aue", which the city of Dachau renatured in 2011.
