action

The dubious scientist Charles Garrison acquires six lost barrels of the dangerous warfare agent trioxin-5 on behalf of the conglomerate Hybra Tech in order to achieve global domination of the company. The society is primarily concerned with the concerns of the citizens and conducts research in various fields, including medicine. The real interests, however, are military in nature; the secret development of so-called bio-chemical weapons is in the foreground. For this you need test persons who are dragged from the surrounding hospital without the knowledge of the relatives. These highly explosive experiments investigate the behavior of individual parts of the body that are contaminated with trioxin gas, as well as the behavior of whole bodies of living dead . The head of the series of experiments is the always grumpy Garrison, who even abuses his family members who have died in a traffic accident for secret experiments.

Since then, Garrison has lived in a larger property together with his two unsuspecting nephews, Julian and his younger brother Jake. One day Julian's best friend Zeke had an accident at a risky motocross demonstration. He falls and goes to the ground unconscious. An alarmed ambulance takes the patient with a head trauma to the local hospital, where his death is staged a little later. However, the grieving Julian accidentally learns from Katie, Zeke's ex-girlfriend, that he has been taken alive to a Hybra Tech research station. The incredulous Julian, who blames the high-tech company for the death of his parents, who once worked there as test subjects, first ascertains the whereabouts of his colleague, who was believed dead, with a few friends of a motocross clique. The group learns of a secret project called Necropolis through the help of dark-skinned Cody, who hacks into the company's computer . At the same time, the name Zekes is discovered on a "posting list". The school friends decide on a nightly rescue operation.

The company's security system is bypassed by Katie, who also works in security. She grants access to the five young intruders - Jake joins them later - and leads them through the underground supply shafts of the area to the research laboratory of the extensive building complex, where the tied Zeke is suspected. After a short time , the young rescuers encounter mutated zombies , which they receive hostile. The six burglars continue their mission after killing the creatures and finally meet Charles Garrison in the research station. Julian has no idea of his uncle's machinations when he reveals himself to the group and leads them to the prisoner they are looking for. At the same time, the scientist informs his two nephews about the whereabouts of their parents. Before that, he shows the curious “visitors” the high-security wing of the facility with the brain- and blood-hungry zombies that he needs for nefarious experiments to create super soldiers. The liberation of Zeke, meanwhile, triggers an alarm, a little later Garrison flees from the united group. However, something goes wrong and the caged zombies are freed. The building and the surrounding area are overrun with living dead.

On their flight from the now ubiquitous beasts, the intruders are separated. Independently of each other, they now have to fend off violent attacks. The number of the living is gradually reducing. While Katie escapes on her own, Julian and Cody advance to the 12th floor, where they discover two deactivated zombie elite fighters, Jake's parents. Then they fight their way to the roof of the facility, abseil down and meet Katie. Meanwhile, Becky fights together with Jake and Zeke, who was bitten during the rescue and whose transformation is imminent, against the storming monsters. When Zeke mutates into a zombie and Jake bites, the angry Becky kills her school friend. In the end, the high-tech fighting machines activated by Garrison also intervene, albeit with modest success. You kill Katie, however.

The three survivors Julien, Cody and Becky are rescued by a SWAT special unit that kills all zombies. Charles Garrison manages to escape unnoticed with a few barrels on the back of his pickup truck . In a gloomy scenario, in the last scene of the film, a newscaster announces an incident in the said research center, which he attaches little importance to when he is bitten by a brain-hungry zombie.

Reviews

The lexicon of international films wrote that the third offshoot of a low-budget horror film series is characterized "at best by intellectual simplicity" and offers the "usual disgusting effects of the genre."
