The Reusch International SpA is one in Bolzano resident (South Tyrol) sporting goods company specializing in winter sports gloves and goalie gloves and goalie equipment, with about 160 products in the football segment and 330 in winter sports.

history

In 1934, Karl Reusch began developing the first gloves in the attic of his private home in Metzingen . The first models were sewn by hand. In 1972 his son Gebhard Reusch took over the company. In the same year, he presented his first ski glove collection, systematically expanding Reusch's activities on the sporting goods market. A year later, in 1973, Gebhard Reusch developed the world's first goalkeeper glove in close collaboration with Sepp Maier . In 1984, on its 50th birthday, Reusch advanced to become the world market leader in the sports gloves segment. In search of new market segments, Reusch then presented his first ski clothing collection in 1989 and, three years later, the first team sports collection. In 2003, ski helmets and goggles were added to the range for the first time.

On June 1, 2017, Reusch moved its headquarters from Reutlingen to Bozen .

Company structure

The company's headquarters are in Bolzano. With the help of sales partners from around 60 countries, a summer collection (goalkeeper gloves, goalkeeper clothing, protections, bags and accessories) and a winter collection (racing, ski, freeride, mountaineering, board, Nordic gloves and headwear) are produced each year ) for children and adults in stores worldwide.

Sepp Maier was the first athlete to be equipped at the 1974 World Cup in Germany. Other goalkeepers who were equipped by Reusch were z.
