Ricardo Martins de Araújo , called Kadu , (born July 20, 1986 in Brasília ) is a Brazilian football player . The right footer is used in central defense or in defensive midfield .

Career

Kadu began his career in the youth team of Guarani FC . In 2005 he made the leap into the professional squad here. In 2007, Kadu moved to CA Bragantino . From this he was loaned to Corinthians São Paulo in the same year . With this, the player came to first division games . He made his first appearance in the competition on June 30, 2007 in the home game against Palmeiras São Paulo . Kadu returned to Bragantino in Serie B the following year . It was not until the summer of 2013 that he was promoted to the Série A. He moved permanently to the EC Vitória .

In the 2013/14 winter break, Kadu was signed by Sporting Braga from Portugal . In the current season he only came to one use in the Primeira Liga . Then he was transferred to the second team from Braga, with which he played three more games. Then I went back to Brazil in summer 2014. Here he came back under contract with Vitória . With the club he made his first appearance at the international club level. In the course of the Copa Sudamericana 2014 , he played against Atlético Nacional from Medellín on October 17, 2014 .

In 2015, Kadu started the season initially with Vitória . At the start of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A 2015 , he then moved to the first division Athletico Paranaense . After he moved to Grêmio Porto Alegre at the end of the season and started the year 2016 in the Campeonato Gaúcho and Primeira Liga do Brasil 2016 , Kadu switched to league operations again and went on loan to AA Ponte Preta . In August 2017, Kadu moved to Göztepe Izmir in Turkey . The contract had a term of two years. Kadu played his first game in the top Turkish league on August 12, 2017. In the game against Fenerbahçe Istanbul , he was in the starting line-up on the first matchday of the 2017/18 season . Kadu scored the first goal for Göztepe on December 9, 2017 in the game against Yeni Malatyaspor . After submission by Miloš Kosanović , he scored in the 6th minute for a 1-0 opening goal (final score 2: 3 for Göztepe). He has been without a job since his contract expired at the end of the 2018/19 season.
