Richard Alonzo
Richard Alonzo (* 20th century ) is an American make- up artist .
Life
Alonzo's career began in the 1981 film The Nesting when he was in charge of the makeup. This was followed by other activities in films that received awards or nominations at various Academy Awards , such as The Color Purple , The Sixth Sense , AI - Artificial Intelligence , Pearl Harbor , Lemony Snicket - Mysterious Events , Pirates of the Caribbean - At World's End , Avatar - departure for Pandora , Star Trek or Hitchcock . He was never nominated.
At the 2017 Academy Awards , he received his first nomination, along with Joel Harlow , in the category of best makeup and best hairstyles for his artistic achievements in the film Star Trek Beyond .
