In 2007 Antinucci moved to Indy Lights to join his uncle Eddie Cheever's team . With two victories he finished 15th overall at the end of the season. His bad performance was explained by the fact that he did not start in the oval races. In 2008 the American stayed in the Indy Lights and played his second season for Sam Schmidt Motorsports . Again he was able to win two races, but this time he started in all races and finally won the runner-up title behind Raphael Matos .
