Richard Mamajewski (born February 24, 1956 in Starnberg ) is a former German soccer player who played 72 games in the 2nd Bundesliga , 69 for MTV Ingolstadt and three for TSV 1860 Munich . He played nine times for Lierse SK in the highest Belgian league .

Career

societies

Emerging from the youth of FC Bayern Munich , Mamajewski received a professional contract with them in 1974 . Even as an A-youth he was appointed to the DFB youth team in 1973/74 ; Participants included the players Karl Del'Haye , Bernd Förster and Gerhard Strack .

Under the coaches Udo Lattek and Dettmar Cramer and with the storm talent Karl-Heinz Rummenigge signed by Borussia Lippstadt , Mamajewski did not have the opportunity to excel in the game until 1976.

This fact led to the fact that he moved to TSV 1860 Munich in the 2nd Bundesliga for the 1976/77 season within the city . But even with the lions he was unable to assert himself under coach Heinz Lucas and was only used on the first three match days of the season south . He made his debut on August 14, 1976 (1st matchday) in the 0-2 defeat at home against KSV Baunatal . This was followed by the 2-0 win in the home game against SSV Jahn Regensburg on the 21st and the goalless draw in the away game against Eintracht Trier on August 25, 1976. Before that, on August 10, 1976, he was in the first main round of the DFB- Cup used in the 1-0 win after extra time against Wuppertaler SV . In a private game on August 31st in Nördlingen, he suffered a broken tibia and fibula and was no longer used in the 1976/77 season! After that, he was only used in private games and in the Intertoto Cup until the summer of 1978 .

From 1978 to 1980 - now eligible to play for league rivals MTV Ingolstadt - he completed 69 second division games and scored five goals, his first being on October 1, 1978 (9th matchday) with the 3-0 final score in the home game against Borussia Neunkirchen . As a top performer of his team, the relegation with the 11th place in the table could be avoided, which did not succeed in the following season; as nineteenth in the table , relegation to the Bayern League was sealed.

For the 1980/81 season he moved to the Belgian first division Lierse SK , for which he only played nine league games, and then returned to Germany .

National team

Mamajewski played eleven times for the DFB youth team , the first time on September 14, 1973 in Herford in the 1-0 victory against Finland and the last time on April 3, 1974 in Piteşti in the 2-0 defeat against the Romanian team. Against this he had also scored his only international goal on March 16 in Passau , the winning goal to make it 1-0. From November 14th to 19th he took part with the youth team in the tournament for the Prince Albert Cup in Monte Carlo , which won the final against Belgium 4-1 on penalties .

Others

Mamajewski made up his Abitur and studied at the Technical University of Munich .

Today the state-certified sports instructor runs a practice as a physiotherapist and works as a golf instructor at the Hohenpähl GC.
