Ricky Harris (born 1962 - December 26, 2016 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American actor and comedian .

Life

Ricky Harris grew up in Long Beach , California , where he met the young Snoop Dogg, among others . He was first acknowledged as a comedian in the HBO telecast Def Comedy Jam name. In the 1990s he was also active in the West Coast hip-hop scene, working with rappers such as Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and Dr. Dre together.

He later appeared in films such as Poetic Justice and Murder Was the Case: The Movie . He took on his first major supporting roles in Michael Mann's crime film Heat (1995) and Mikael Salomons action film Hard Rain (1998). From 1996 to 1998 he took on the role of Javon 'JW' Willis in six episodes of the sitcom Moesha . In Bones - Death is only the beginning was Harris in 2001 alongside Snoop Dogg and Pam Grier to see and in 2015 in the comedy dope .

In 2004 he spoke various roles in the video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas . From 2006 to 2008 he played a supporting role in the sitcom Everyone Hates Chris .

On December 26, 2016, he died of a heart attack. Ricky Harris was divorced and had two daughters.
