Frankfurt times

Michael Wynn Band

Robby Musenbichler became a sought-after musician for band projects in Frankfurt. His first stop was the Michael Wynn Band of the singer and guitarist Michael Winzkowski. He played there with the drummer Fritz Matzka (1950-1993), who also came from Austria, and the brothers Norbert Schmitt (bass) and Thomas Schmitt (keyboards). With this formation Musenbichler toured the globe, among other things as support for Uriah Heep . Tokyo

The title track of the first LP Tokyo became an international hit and is now a classic.

The second LP, Fasten Seat Belts , was released in 1982 and sold even more successfully than the debut album. Keiko, World of Promises and the instrumental ballad Bliss were the highlights of this album. The third LP, San , was released in 1983 and can be described as a mainstream album. With his own plans, however, Klaus Luley left the band and founded Craaft , which is why Tokyo split up in 1984.
