Robert F. Heller

Robert F. Heller (born July 25, 1958 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a German political official ( CDU ). He has been President of the Federal Finance Academy since 2013 .

Life

From 1980 to 1990 he studied law and obtained his doctorate. jur. at the University of Cologne as well as legal preparatory service at the Cologne Higher Regional Court . From 1991 to 1997 he was an advisor in the budget department of the Federal Ministry of Finance and the deputy chairman of the budget committee , from 1997 to 1998 head of the tax policy department in the Federal Chancellery and from 1998 to 1999 he was head of the office and advisor for budget, finances and taxes to the deputy chairman CDU / CSU parliamentary group Friedrich Merz . From 1999 to 2001 he was State Secretary at the Berlin Senate Department for Finance and from 2001 to 2010 State Councilor at the Hamburg Finance Authority .

From July 1, 2011 to June 2013, Heller was Head of Finance and Taxes at the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry . Since June 7, 2013 he has been the President of the Federal Finance Academy .

Robert F. Heller is married and has two children.
