Robert Harmon

Robert Harmon (* 1953 ) is an American film and television director .

Life

Harmon began his career in the film business as a still photographer in the late 1970s. In 1983 he worked as a cameraman in the horror film Chamber of Secrets . In the same year he made his first short film with China Lake , followed three years later with Hitcher, the Highway Killer, his first feature film. Since the late 1990s, he has worked exclusively for television. For example, from 2005 to 2015 he directed eight of the nine-part Jesse Stone film series. Harmon also co-produced these films. Since 2011 he has been involved as a director on the series Blue Bloods - Crime Scene New York .

Harmon was nominated for an Emmy in 1997 and 2004 for his directorial work .
