Robert Rothe

Robert Rothe (born July 20, 1803 in Bromberg , † April 12, 1893 in Halle (Saale) ) was a Prussian politician.

Rothe studied law in Berlin and became a member of the Corps Marchia Berlin . Rothe began his civil service career in 1827 as a court trainee in Marienwerder. From 1861 to 1876 he was the district president of the Merseburg district in the Prussian province of Saxony . From October 21, 1848 to April 4, 1849 he was a member of the Frankfurt National Assembly . In 1875 he became an honorary citizen of Halle. In 1893 he was buried in the town's church.
