Roberto Fraga (born December 11, 1960 in La Coruña , Spain) is a French game designer .

He became known through the game Dragon Delta , with which he was included in the shortlist for the game of the year 2001. The game was published by Eurogames and was released in 2001. The game published in France in 2000 by Jeux Descartes under the title Les Dragons du Mékong received the Gobelet d'Or des Concours de créateurs de jeux there in the same year . Other well-known games of his are the 2009 published Wo war's? , which was awarded the German Learning Game Award in 2010 , and Lagoona , with which it was nominated for the German Learning Game Award 2012.

His magnetic spider game Spinderella ( Zoch 2015) was not only on the shortlist of the ToyAward of the Nuremberg Toy Fair 2015, but also became Children's Game of the Year 2015.

Roberto Fraga is a prolific writer, alone or with other game designers. He works closely with the French game designers Odet Homer and Matthew Epenoux , with whom he has already developed several family games.

Roberto Fraga is married and has two daughters with his wife. He lives and works in Saint-Malo in Brittany .
