Roger Mirmont (born July 3, 1946 in Bordeaux ; actually Roger Miremont ) is a French actor.

He became known for the title role of Molière in Marcel Camus ' TV multi-part series Molière pour rire et pour pleurer (1973). This was followed by the leading role of Roger in La Virée superbe (1974) and supporting roles alongside Claude Brasseur in Ham with Egg (1975) and alongside Annie Girardot in Everyone's Hell (1977) and alongside Marlène Jobert in Police Warfare (1978). When Roger Mirmont played alongside Brigitte Fossey and Patti D'Arbanville in David Newman's La fille d'Amérique in 1977 , he fell in love with D'Arbanville and married her.

In 1984, Claude Chabrol gave him the role of Marcel alongside Jodie Foster in The Blood of Others . Other successes in the 1980s were Lieutenant Joalland in the war film The Battle of the Black Queen and Richard in Tony Gatlif's Rue du Départ .

In 1990 he was nominated for the Molière for best supporting actor in the play La Célestine .

In the 1990s he was mainly present on television, again as the husband of Claude Jade in the revenge comedy Le bonheur des autres (1991), with Marie-Christine Barrault and Catherine Jacob in Les Maîtresses de mon mari (1995) next to Jacob in Qui mange qui? (1998) and roles in series (1999–2000 in Cap des Pins ). In 2002 Roger Mirmont played the exploited banker Delacroix in Jean-Claude Brisseau's Grotesque Secret Games , in 2005 Roger played alongside Daniel Auteuil in Peindre ou faire l'amour .
