Rolf Kayser (Art Foundry)

Rolf Kayser (* 1960 in Saarbrücken ) is a German chaser master and art caster .

Rolf Kayser comes from a pewter family. His grandfather ran the Kayser pewter foundry in Krefeld , whose Art Nouveau objects are popular among collectors today. In 1978 Kayser began training as a chaser in Düsseldorf. In 1999 he took over his training company, the Raimund Kittls foundry, as master chaser , and replaced his master in his workshop in the Düsseldorf harbor .

Under Kayser's direction, the foundry realized the work of numerous sculptors, including artists such as Tony Cragg (Las Vegas , Mixed Feelings) , Thomas Schütte , Katharina Fritsch , Ulle Hees (Zuckerfritz) , Richard Deacon (Gripping) , Wilhelm Mundt , Hede Bühl , Paloma Varga Weisz , Till Hausmann ( Toni-Turek- Monument) , Pia Stadtbäumer , Johannes Brus , Bogomir Ecker , Ariane von Mauerstetten , Ingo Ronkholz , Carl Emanuel Wolff and Magdalena Abakanowicz .
