Rolf Möller (musician)

Rolf Möller (born May 2, 1956 in Hagen ) is a German musician who gained greater fame as the drummer for the rock band Extrabreit . Since 1985 he has been part of the cast of Grobschnitt under the nickname Admiral Top-Sahne .

biography

Möller and the later Extrabreit founder Stefan Klein met in kindergarten and went to primary school together. Möller owned his first drum in 1968 and made his first musical attempts with Klein. Both were members of a school band.

After leaving school, Möller learned the trade of retail salesman and was supposed to take over his father's company in the late 1970s. Instead, he chose to make a living from music and joined Extrabreit after their drummer, Captain Horn , left the group. With the band between 1980 and 1982 he recorded the albums Your greatest successes, Welch ein Land! What for men: and the return of the fantastic 5! on, in 1982 also Jupheidi at dawn with Wolfgang Luthe. In 1985 he left Extrabreit and became a member of rough cut, with whom he 1985 Sundance and 1987 album fantasist recorded. In 1989 Grobschnitt dissolved.

Extrabreit also disbanded in 1987 after the release of the album Sex After 3 Years in a Submarine , which was a commercial flop. Möller invited the other four members of the group to his home in 1989, where Extrabreit was brought back to life. With the exception of Every Day - Every Night , Amen Möller was involved in the recording of all of the band's studio albums that have been released since then.

Since Grobschnitt's comeback in 2006, Möller has been part of this group again.
